The Professional Remodelers Organization's Mission States:

The object of the Professional Remodelers Organization, Inc. (PRO) is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular, to encourage and foster:

• FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
• SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations and the dignifying by each member of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
• THIRD: The application of the ideal of service by every member to his personal, business and community life;
• FOURTH: The advancement of understanding, good will and peace through fellowship of business and professional persons united in the idea of service.

As part of the continued growth PRO has been experiencing over the last several years - mentoring the youth of today for tomorrows business growth has always been in the background. Many of PRO's members constantly discuss the shortage of quality employees, replacement owners as retirement comes closer and salesman for the demanding growth of suppliers and manufacturers of products for the home remodeling industry.

PRO is proud to say officially - if you are one of the few who missed the exciting 2014 PRO Home Improvement and Garden Show this year at the Seagate Centre - that PRO announced the launching of Future PRO with an invention contest for all students in Lucas and Wood County from K-12th Grade!

So what is Future PRO?
Future PRO is  PRO's new mentoring program. PRO has already taken steps with the help of Dr. Cecelia Adams, President of the Toledo Public Schools Board of Directors to lay ground work with TPS Superintendent Dr. Romules Durant and Tonya Kessinger, Director of Agriculture, Construction, & Engineering Technology at TPS to better connect with the students.

It is PRO's long-term goal to connect students with real life workforce experience and education through utilizing the PRO Membership. PRO is hoping to have job shadowing, internships, educational seminars and more!

What is the Future PRO Invention Contest?
The Future PRO Invention contest is a unique opportunity for all children in Kindergarten through 12th Grade to design a roof of the future! PRO also added an opportunity for classrooms to participate too!

The invention contest is very simple: Design what you think would make for a great new Roof for homes! Magical ingredients are welcome - meaning dream big and be creative! We are looking for: CREATIVITY • ADVANCEMENT • ETHICS and FELLOWSHIP in every submission! 

Plus! Prizes will given to the first and second place winners! Prizes include:

Ready to Get Your Lawn and Landscape Ready for Toledo's Late Spring?

Cleaning - Weeding - Pruning - Mulching - Fertilizing and RAKING!!

Spring at last…well almost. The first official day of spring was in March, but in Toledo, Ohio with the exception of snow and now heavy rain, it is beginning to feel like spring is finally here! Green leaves...even greener lawns and blue skies! Clean - Make sure to thoroughly clean up your lawn. Start by Raking and Weeding. Disease and  decay during the long winter can take over a lawn so it is essential to clean out old leaves left behind and dead debris lingering on your lawn. Click and learn more spring tips - watch this great video! 

Weed - Now is the easiest time to weed your landscape - remove the ivy growing on and beyond your landscape. Starter trees are weeds can easily be removed while their still small. But don't take it from me...watch this video and learn more now!
